Last session at #ESPAnet2024 kicked off with great presentation by Enrico Benassi on how making firing and dismissals easier in Italy affects hiring in Italy, showing it did not make the labour market necessarily more inclusive.

Last week I presented my working paper at #ESPAnet2024 on whether increasing labour market flexibility reduces segmentation— quasi-experimental evidence from Italy suggests it doesn't! Thanks to Prof. Leschke and all attendees for the great feedback!
