I'm reorienting our entire company and product behind one metric: - Challenges Completed Revenue doesn't matter, time on site doesn't matter What matters is that kids who join Recess go on to do extraordinary things

To build a great education product for kids you need to work on two things: 1. Influence & motivation (what do kids want to be doing?) 2. Effective instruction No one ever focuses on #1, but it’s more important. If kids want it bad enough, they’ll learn despite bad materials
