At the risk of being uncharitable, I’m increasingly convinced that degrowth is just an attempt to find a new rationalization for socialism after its economic failure

the reality is these particular NFT offerings hit by the SEC were securities transactions imo (especially the restaurant one, pretty textbook alignment with existing howey precedent), but it's kind of shocking Gensler can't argue why and how they are distinct from baseball ticket

Knowingly - very clearly knowingly - steal - very clearly steal - $8 billion from customers. Plead guilty to it. Jail sentence: 2 years. Judge: "You were led astray by a very charismatic boyfriend and have expressed remorse." $8 billion. 🤦‍♀️

I love to see it. The pump-monkeys are pumping $LEU and $ASPI "because $NNE and $OKLO will need HALEU for their reactors." 😂 $NNE will never need HALEU for its reactors. $NNE will never produce reactors. Its promises of future reactors are 100% pump-monkey bait.

The first #uranium security I bought 3 years ago was $CCJ. At the time, we all thought its key selling point vs. other miners was that it was the safest one. #winning

While I was on my bike ride, #bitcoin finally broke above that 2-month resistance at the high $64s and has held above $65k for a while. What a perfect way to kick off the usual 4Q ramp-fest. (Probably.)

I've been saying all year that small nuclear reactors will do great but Nuscale $SMR won't be the one selling them. No one wants to buy Nuscale's NRC-certified model, so it has completely lost its regulatory lead. There are ~80 other alternatives. oecd-nea.org/jcms/pl_90816/… 1/3

My list of better competitors has always started with Westinghouse, Rolls Royce, GE Hitachi, KAERI, Terra Power, and Ultra Safe Nuclear. They all have some combination of superior designs, funding, customer relationships, regulatory expertise, or organizational support. 2/3

There may be more strong ones. Today the UK government dropped Nuscale (and only Nuscale) from its competition to kick-start SMR deployment there. The 4 remaining finalists are - surprise! - Westinghouse, Rolls Royce, GE Hitachi, and Holtek UK. 3/3 world-nuclear-news.org/articles/ge-hi…

$STNG announces its chairman bought January calls with a $17m notional value. 🙄🥱 Bugbee semi-regularly buys calls, the company always shills it & they never say when he sells. On the other hand: He's right, innee? The stock decline is dumb and 4Q is usually good for day-rates
