My family breeds Dorper sheep in Northern Germany. Dorpers, while originally adapted to the hot&dry climate of South Africa, do very well in cold conditions. These pregnant ewes are on their way to the barn for our Xmas lambing. They will lamb again in Aug, and then in April '23.

Great engagement at the first ever #BeesandotherInsects session at WCGALP2022 - Excited to see 5 insect species and 10 countries represented across the 20 talks in two sessions this afternoon. This is such an exciting field that is really just starting to build momentum!
