Tiger Class has been thinking about their 5 senses this week in science. They used the two senses of smell and taste in their experiment yesterday. Smelling sweet cinnamon and strong vinegar, hen tasting, bitter chocolate and sour lemons. #BestofBeecroft

Rhino Class had a wonderful time today taking part in our ‘Drop Everything And Read’ session. The children loved settling down with their books and enjoying some peaceful reading time together out in the sunshine. It was lovely to see so many engaged readers. #BestofBeecroft

In science today, Rhino Class used the book ‘Moth’ to help them understand natural selection. They stayed focused and did an amazing job creating their storyboards to explain how natural selection leads to evolution. #BestofBeecroft

Meerkat Class had great fun in DT today. We have made a ratatouille. The children helped to chop and dice the vegetables before it all went in the slow-cooker. #BestofBeecroft

Koala Class is busy analysing different land art ideas. In previous weeks they have created their own land art, then sketched it. Today they are using some famous land arts and recreating them as a sketch using different shading techniques in their art books. #BestofBeecroft

Early Years parents had a great morning learning all about Phonics with Mrs Phillips. "I learnt what I need to do and how to support my child. I know what my child is going to learn for the whole year. Thank you. This was a great workshop." #BestofBeecroft

Some of our Early Years pupils have enjoyed using the large construction outside to construct their own buildings. They worked hard together to build their own home! #BestofBeecroft
