Healing doesn’t always look like big breakthroughs. Sometimes, it’s just laughing a little more than yesterday.

Soup is underrated. It’s cozy, delicious, and there’s one for every mood.

Healing doesn’t look like perfection. Some days it’s smudging. Some days it’s crying. Some days it’s not replying to that message. But it’s still healing.

Mental health is not just self-care. It’s land, language, kinship, and rest. It’s community. It’s stories. It’s us reclaiming wellness on our own terms.

Today I’m proud of the quiet choices I made. Not yelling. Not drinking. Not giving up. That’s recovery too. Every small choice is a step toward the life I’m still building.

Some days I feel like I’m barely holding it together. But then I hear my babies laugh, wear their ribbon skirts, speak our language, dance in regalia gifted to them, or listen to them sing our songs. And I remember we’re doing it. We’re breaking cycles.

There’s a difference between helping and performing. One sees the person. The other sees a camera.

If your kindness is transactional, it’s not kindness. Help people because they matter not because you want credit or praise.

Gratitude looks like showing up, even when it’s hard.

Grateful for the ones who check in, show up, and pray for me when I don’t ask.
