Is there any studies or data on behavior issues in schools right now? I have to say I’m having a hard time with saying behaviors are worse than ever before (don’t we say this every few years?) and I’d like to do some reading on it. Genuinely asking!

One time I suppressed my emotions so deeply I had a vasovagal response, I passed out & seized. Doc said it’s bc I stifled my emotional reaction to pain (I’d just gotten hurt but tried to act like I was ok). Moral of the story: Your sick days are for mental health too. Take them.

Today I went to a middle school where many of my former students go, and they were having a dance. They saw me and squealed and we had a big group hug and all did the Cupid shuffle together and it was the highlight of my year 🥹
