Ah well. It was not to be for the Beddy as we finished up on the losing side against our friends Churchtown Cricket Club in a disappointingly one sided game. Congratulations to them and in particular Ryan Buck for his excellent unbeaten ton. But you know what? We go again! #UTB

We have also been informed by the League that we have been awarded the Pochin Cup game due to a rule infringement. Not the way we‘d like to win any game. What it does mean though is that we travel to Skelmersdale & Dalton CC in the next round on the 19th May for a 2022 final rematch!

Ah well, it was not to be today. Posting 94 in our innings, Prescot & Odyssey CC knocked them off with ease, aided and abetted by a sudden attack of Dropsy (the only thing anyone caught). Well done and thank you to our hosts, and good luck for the rest of the season. We go again!
