One our YR6 classes have been lucky enough to meet Tranmere Rovers FC players Kane Hemmings and Josh D.Cogley. ⚽️ The players spoke about their careers and gave the children some great motivation as they work towards their SATS ✅ Thanks Tranmere Rovers in the Community 😀⚪️🔵

Year 6 have made a great start to maths this year. We’ve been working collaboratively to explore place value and embed our understanding of the four operations.

It was lovely to have our parents in school this morning working collaboratively with the children. If you were unable to attend the meeting, the resources have been shared with you via Parentmail.

A huge well done to the Year 6 children that took part in cross country this evening. You all raced well and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship by cheering on the rest of our team. A particular shout out to one of our boys achieving 5th out of 120! Bedford Drive PE & Outdoor Learning 🏃‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️

It’s been another great afternoon of Bedford Drive children representing our school in Y4, Y5 and Y6 in Cross Country races 🏃🏿🏃🏼‍♀️ We’re extremely proud of one of our YR6 boys who finished 5th in his race 🙌🏻🏅

In computing this week, we have been investigating how we can work collaboratively online. In groups, we created an information page without talking to each other and were challenged to only communicate via the chat box. 💻 Computing @ Bedford Drive

Year 6 have created some excellent batik artwork inspired by Mr Trisno. They explored patterned and experimented with colour before creating their final design. All of the final outcomes are fabulous, well done Year 6. 🖌🎨 Art@BedfordDrive
