Yesterday, we took some of our Sports Leaders to work with GB Olympian, Amy Smith (freestyle swimmer), to help inspire and encourage physical activity and participation to pupils at St Thomas More. This was great experience for our new Sports Leaders, all of whom were amazing!!

Big credit to the year 7 football team, who came runners up in the district finals. They performed fantastically, showing great progress from last year where they didn’t manage to qualify for the finals. This year they qualified and competed well to come second. Amazing afternoon of team table tennis hosted by St Bede's PE and their sports leaders. 62 players in 15 teams with St Bede's PE and Woodrush High School in finals. Thanks to all staff for helping out, especially Mr G at St Bede's. Well done all Birchensale Middle Church Hill Middle School
