A great goal for elementary schools this fall is to include more recess during school and less homework after school. Let children run, play, and enjoy being kids!

Teacher retention: if you want to keep the best teachers, treat them like they are the best. Few teachers leave an environment where they feel valued, supported, appreciated, and treated like professionals.

An effective leader will not feel threatened by the competence of those they lead, but will see the competence as an asset to the team.
