At Worship and Music Conference (Montreat), someone asked me if I’m a singer. Listen, when it comes to singing, back home in my congregation, I’m like an 8.5. Here, I’m a 3, maybe. I’ll spend the whole week with beautiful music, anyway!

I always think I’m going to get so much done when I spend study leave at a conference—but then the conference is also so much. One day I’ll learn.
