"If you're in the top 20%, you're gonna get 3.7% increase in after tax income from tax cuts. If you're in the bottom, you lose $800. You get a small tax cut and and a large cut in Medicaid and other benefits."

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Sleep and mental health go hand in hand. But, does poor sleep lead to poor mental health? Or the other way around? Doesn't really matter, a healthy bedtime routine can do wonders for wellness.

Cutting this program puts young people’s lives at risk. LGBTQIA+ Americans deserve equal care and support, not gratuitous insult and injury. We’ll keep fighting on their behalf against RFK Jr. and all others who have lost moral touch. thehill.com/homenews/lgbtq…

Trump cut staffing at the VA, and now Dallas vets are waiting months for care. Surgeries are being delayed. Vets are being left without mental health care. I’ve called for an investigation—because if you claim to support veterans, act like it.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. It's often hard to ask for help. And when talking about mental wellness, asking for help is even harder. Having someone to talk to is huge. A friend, sibling, teacher, doctor, clergy. Even your Uncle Bill. Asking for help is strength.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. In the immediate wake of trauma finding ways to exercise the logical part of your brain with puzzles, orderly tasks, games, etc. can help minimize the long-term impact on the emotional part of your brain.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Woof. Some days hit harder, that's how life goes. Pretending every day is the same or that everyone should be "in a good mood" is silliness. Knowing your limits, your stamina, and your supports are all hallmarks of good mental health.

Today, we honor the memory of fallen soldiers and the irreplaceable sacrifice of their families. Thank you to each of the brave people who continue to protect and serve our country. Your courage keeps us safe and we can never repay your sacrifice.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. I watch my kids talk about mental health compared to how I talk about mental health compared to how my parents talk about mental health. Each generation is growing wiser about mental illness. Let's keep that trend going.
