I had a great time making my Bechstein Hall debut last night, performing the Liszt Sonata in two consecutive recitals. This delicious food was waiting for me backstage in my green room, providing much-needed fuel after the first performance. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Guy Johnston and Emmanuel Despax, together with violinist Priya Mitchell, perform at the Bechstein Hall on Wednesday 11th December. The Bechstein Trio, resident piano trio at the Hall, will perform a programme of Beethoven and Brahms piano trios.

An hour alone to try the new concert grand and magic acoustic system Bechstein Hall. I've had worse Friday mornings. This is a superb hall with a novel (and I hope winning) approach to programming and a first class restaurant to boot. I urge you all to try it!
