This week, I attended #Rebound training! Such a great experience and so much fun😃 I trained alongside my #OT and #NQP #SLT colleagues; can't wait to begin sessions with our individuals🎉 So many opportunities for #communication 🗣️ and #interaction 🙌

A rather different, but nevertheless helpful #SLTA yesterday 🐴 I accompanied an individual to her horse riding lesson! Plentiful opportunities for #communication and great to see her following instructions in a #functional way 😁 #mySLTday

Achieved a HUGE clinical milestone this morning! Completed my first MCA 🎉 It's taken me 6 weeks to understand the process, language, and actual a/x but it's finally submitted 🙌 Such an important area for #SLTs to be part of and I'm sure there'll be many more to come #NQP

During #ReboundTherapy I had an amazing #IntensiveInteraction with a #PWS. I followed her movement, expression, + gaze 🙌 all thanks to the trampoline! She demonstrated intentional #communication and #engagement 🎉 6 weeks left of this block, excited to see how far we go! ⬆️

Great start to my Monday! I implemented the #ZonesofRegulation for a #PWS - his staff promoted the validation + acknowledgement of his feelings. Over the weekend he has identified his first 'negative' emotion by placing himself in #bluezone. Huge win for the team #ALD #LD #SLT

Brushed off my #transcription skills today with a modified #STAP 📝 I must say, the added element of transcribing with the Lion King playing was an unforeseen difficulty 🦁👑🤦‍♀️ Nevertheless, gathered some great #speech samples! 💬 #ALD #SLT #NQPSLT

Today, I supported an individual to #interview 🗨️ for the role of his Key Worker! We used #accessible questions that he had chosen prior and a #whiteboard so he could take notes 📝He even dressed in his suit for the occasion 🕴️🎉 An amazing day for #advocacy 🌟🙌 #slt #mysltday
