55 years ago tonight...Dec. 9, 1965, Charlie Brown Christmas Special first aired on TV. I watch every year. Simple. But not. When Charlie asks can anyone tell me the true meaning of Christmas and Linus steps up, recites Luke 2: 8-14...Best moment in TV History

Inflation: A general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money. Look through the lenses of an economist as we evaluate the economic stability following the plethora of decisions being made.

If you wonder how a respected Christian leader can throw away a lifetime of trust and favor, for the emptiness of ephemeral titillation, just read Genesis 25:29–34. Esau sold his entire inheritance for a bowl of soup. Bodily impulses make people crazy.

Even IF shutting down the Keystone Pipeline prevented 900k bbl oil/day from being consumed (it won't), it would trim human CO2 emissions by a whopping .39%. It takes more than virtue signaling and killing jobs to be taken seriously about climate change. It takes math.

Bill Gates Fact Check: EPA estimates cattle’s GHG emissions at 2% of US total, 10-50 times lower than other beef producing nations. Efforts to reduce transportation and electricity emissions would have a far greater positive impact.

We have more horses than dairy cows in the US (9.5 vs 9 Million). Not to mention 140 Million dogs & cats consuming the equivalent amount of food as 70 Million people. Curious why cows but never horses, dogs or cats are an environmental issue. Food for thought.

“God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your ability, but with the test he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 Escape is not avoidance. Escape is endurance.

Warm and cool periods since the last ice age. Notice civilizations flourished during the warm periods, which were warmer than today. R&D of renewable fuel is fine, but we should stop scaring our kids into thinking the world is ending because it's getting warmer.

ONE-THIRD OF U.S. IMPORTS come thru Long Beach and L.A., and 44 ships are in line off the California coast. Normally there are 1 or 2. A toy industry guy told me, “You’d better buy “em now.”

Let's take some zeros off and put the $3.5 trillion spending package into perspective. Take Home Pay: $42,000 w/ a 3% annual raise. Expenses: $61,000, increasing 3% per year Total Debt: $280,000 Would you borrow $35,000 on top of the $1,800+/year you're already borrowing?

I don't believe raising interest rates will reduce inflation. Rate hikes target inflation by slowing money velocity. Per the chart below, velocity is clearly not the problem. Current high prices result from entitlements that undermine incentive to work and stifle productivity.
