When attempting to predict bird movements at Bear Divide, we try to consider as many possible factors! Helpful imagery from NOAA Satellites allows us to watch cloud and fog cover change throughout the night when birds take flight.

A perfect day today! Clear skies and good weather with 80 people visiting and 2,000 birds moving through the divide! Spring migration is turning up w/ Lazuli Buntings, Western Kingbirds, Rufous Hummingbirds, 9 warbler species, and sprinkles of grosbeaks, tanagers, and more!
