Had an employee give notice today they “can no longer afford to work here” they make $24 hour with tips! Child care too expensive and not enough left to justify working. Hate that parents even have to consider working only to realize it’s not worth it! Our children deserve better

Feeling sentimental tonight about the journey I’ve been on in BBQ over the last 12 years and how my life has changed, all for the better! Met the woman of my dreams and now she’s joined me in my bbq life! All our kids / grandkids have helped at some point as well!

Was able to save approximately $5,000 annually by changing the way we order potatoes for restaurants 😳 Used to buy all 40ct cases Now I buy 90 count for our potato salad and the 40 count only for bakers! Was my food reps recommendation!

Over the last several months we’ve entirely changed our brisket cook and the result is amazing!

Amazing how different two stores are only 30 miles apart! Small town demographics at new store vs 9 years in suburban area and every metric I THOUGHT I had does NOT translate 😳

2024 our crew dug In and tinkered with improving our brisket game. The end result I believe takes us to an entirely new level!

Time to get serious about promoting our seasonings!
