We are having a fantastic time. The BCU LGBT Staff network would like to thank the VC office for supporting us at Birmingham pride

During Pride month we're looking at the different letters of LGBTQ+. L is for Lesbian. Lesbians face lesbophobia in & out of LGBTQ+ community. During Anti LGBTQ+ Phobia Week it's important to think about what this looks like and how we can tackle this. #LisforLesbian

G is for Gay The term gay is primarily used to describe an attraction to someone of the same sex but also used more generally to express non heterosexual attraction. Homophobia is defined as the unfounded dislike/ prejudice against gay people. #GisforGay #AntiLGBTQPlusPhobia

B is for Bisexual Bisexual is when a person is attracted to more than one gender. Being bi doesn't automatically mean you're 50% attracted to men and 50% attracted to women. #BisforBisexual #AntiLGBTQPlusPhobia
