Received a warm cougar welcome this morning Coconut Creek High for our 5th #BCPSSpeakup_Speakout. Thank you to the students who participated!

Stop 2 of the day was at Atlantic Technical High School! This was our 6th #BCPSSpeakup_Speakout. We learned amazing things about the technical programs ATC offers and it was a great session.

Our last stop of the day was at JP Taravella High School for 7th #BCPSSpeakup_Speakout. Trojans shared great insight about JPT and new ideas they have for the school. It was a great visit!

Great way to end the week L612_Principal! We had a great conversation about the 6-12 experience and the many opportunities the students have. #BCPSSpeakup_Speakout number 8!

Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to meet Maurits E. Acosta, Maurits Acosta. It was great to learn about his work in Miami-Dade Schools and how we can collaborate to enhance student engagement. Looking forward to our continued partnership!

We had a great student town hall today with School Board Vice Chair Debra Hixon. We had a great conversation on district support, resources, and areas for improvement.

It was great to have Superintendent Howard Hepburn at our BCASC meeting this morning. Dr. Hepburn shared great guidance with over 400 SGA leaders from across the district. We are grateful for his leadership and support.

Our second stop of the day was at Coral Springs High School for our 11th #BCPSSpeakup_Speakout session. We had a great conversation about improvements the school has made and ideas the students have for the future. Thank you for the warm welcome Dwayne Dixon - Principal CSHS.

We had a wonderful Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee meeting today. We focused on mental health and increasing awareness of district resources for students. Great initiatives to come from this conversation!

Today at the BCPS Diversity Committee meeting Alana alongside two students from Blanche Ely and Dillard High School had an engaging conversation on facility updates and upcoming events. We had another opportunity to express our student input on how we can improve the district!
