Brandon Kaiser, MA '23, has won an Honorable Mention for the annual Ted Kisiel Junior Scholar Award for his paper "Heidegger's Apocalyptic Destiny." His paper will be presented at the American Philosophy Association Eastern Division in January 2024. Congratulations, Brandon!

Dr. Elodie Boubil (Universite de Paris XII) gave the second annual Blanchette-Kennedy Lecture. Her topic was "Beyond Nihilism and Relativism. Individuation and the Spirit of Life in the Philosophy of Louis Lavelle." She also led a seminar on Edith Stein, soul, value and caring.

The fifth annual meeting of the New England Philosophy of Religion Colloquium met at Boston College on October 20 and 21. NEPRC is run jointly by the Boston College and Fordham University departments of philosophy. NEPRC was founded by current BC doctoral student, Jared Highlen.
