St Anne's Catholic Primary School had some very keen soloists who were brave enough to share their talents with a full auditorium. This young pianist also sang as part of the choir and as a trio. I have never seen a Kalimba before but one of the talented students from St Anne's Catholic Primary School gave us all an introduction to this intricate instrument. Again very brave to play this all by herself. Well done. Bishop Challoner Catholic College BC Music Department Tolkien Cluster Schools
The final piece from St Anne's Catholic Primary School was 4 young ladies who rehearsed during the break so that they could perform this surprise piece for us. Our next act comes from a very musical family and tonight was her time to shine. With Bohemian Rhapsody, Kaitlyn wowed us with her talent. I can only apologise that I missed the last 4 bars but I can promise you they were very impressive to watch and listen to. Bishop Challoner Catholic College
A big thank you to all the wonderful primary students and musicians of Bishop Challoner Catholic College who performed in the show. Mr Sullivan and our Traditional Irish musicians getting ready for their first show on the road - debuting at St Dunstan’s Primary 🧡 last week with a mixture of Irish, French, Polish and Scottish tunes. Bishop Challoner Catholic College
The Irish music group played wonderfully the Birmingham Irish today in the last musical event of this term. With musical support from Mr Sullivan, there will be plenty more gigs in the new year ☘️ 🎵 So lovely to hear instruments such as the bouzouki, too.
