In less than 2 weeks, BCMCR's #GameCultures Research Cluster are hosting the 2024 iteration of the international History of Games conference. Taking place 22-24 May here in Birmingham, UK, it's shaping up to be an excellent event. We hope to see you there!

It’s 50 days until ‘The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire’ is released in the UK and 55 for the US. In case anyone wanted to join me in a prolonged countdown. The book’s editor described me yesterday as ‘a kid waiting for Christmas’ and he’s not wrong.
