Look out for the Parish Council's newsletter in The Local Rock villages edition out on Monday, August 5. It includes news about a play area revamp at Rugby Road park and an invitation to record nature spots when visiting the Council's many open green spaces across the parish.

Rugby Road recreation ground play area has been given a revamp, including the installation of a new climbing wall and infant and junior swings. The next phase of the green space upgrade project will include the creation of a new grass pitch.

We are holding a crime awareness / prevention event at the library on Wednesday 4th September. Everyone welcome. We would appreciate it if you could let us know if you intend to come so we can ensure enough goody bags however you can still come along if you haven’t preregistered.

We are taking part in Baby Loss Awareness Week. Hearts available within the library for your message to display in our window. A mesh on our Friendly Bench your own ribbons, & on the 15th we will wrap the week up with a small ceremony to remember & reflect - everyone welcome.
