This week Class 5 have had some lovely lessons focussing on Geography. We have labelled the countries in the U.K. and painted some famous landmarks using water colours. We even wrote our own postcards! Mrs Stewart and Miss Roberts are very proud of all our hard work.

Yesterday, our Year 10 Geography students ventured to Salford Quays to investigate "Has regeneration been successful at Salford Quays?" 🏙️ Students conducted a land use survey, a pedestrian count, and an environmental quality survey as part of their comprehensive investigation.

Last week, our Y9 Geography students explored Risley Moss to study human impact on biodiversity. They gained insight into our local ecosystem through activities like quadrat analyses and field sketches. #GeographyFieldTrip #RisleyMoss #Biodiversity #EnvironmentalEducation

📣 Cake Sale 📣 Eco-hub students held a massively successful cake sale at lunchtime. Thank you to all students who donated and were involved in raising money. We raised enough money to adopt a sea turtle from WWF UK 🐢🐢🐢 Birchwood Community High School Eco-Schools England

Our Y7 students excelled on their geography fieldwork trip to Birchwood Shopping Centre, conducting questionnaires on community attitudes towards climate change. They gathered valuable data showing dedication to understanding environmental issues. Well done! #ClimateChangeAwareness #Fieldwork
