We teachers & staff Buckhorn Creek ES did something fun today: we "paraded" through neighborhoods in which our students live! It was planned out by 2 amazing teachers & it was a blast! My 2 kids joined in for the ride & loved seeing friends & other teachers, too!

Georgia is suspending standardized testing for the upcoming school year & formal teacher evals and are seeking to permanently cut certain tests. This will also save $10's of millions from the budget that can be used toward teacher pay, etc. Let's hope other states step up!

No matter who you voted for, it's long overdue to have had a woman in this role.
