Happy Rainbow day from my grade 2’s!

Today we listened to The Little Red Hen and made dioramas of the story!

We had a very special guest, Cohen’s mom, Leslie. She spoke to us about the indigenous tradition of story telling! It was fabulous!

Leslie gave us exercise books and pencils to write our story!

We played “Broken Telephone” which highlights the oral tradition of stories!

Leslie gave us special storytelling beads! They will encourage us to write our stories !

We made sandcastles!

We had a great visit from Pounce today!

These two met Pounce in the hallway!

Solving Fairy Tale Math Problems!

Today our Fairy Tale was Hansel and Gretel! We wrote about the characters!

Today Mme. Manor read us a story about neurodiversity with her nephew F! We learned about having big feelings!

We had such a great day! Lots if movement, stories, outdoor play, a visit from Mrs. Lethbridge and a visit from a parent with a class gift for me! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed!
