I never trust football coaches who wear visors. When it’s all on the line, you don’t want to see visor guy roaming around your sideline. I know there are a few exceptions to this but there are only a few.

Still the best. All the turf fields, travel teams, and three-quarter-length coach capri pants won't change that. We've spent so much time trying to be like everyone else, we've forgotten what got us to this point in the first place.

The Boston Red Sox vs the AL East over the last 4 years. 2024: 25-27 2023: 24-28 2022: 26-50 The Red Sox are 32-19 vs the AL East. That’s the difference.

I know I'm an old man and just can't comprehend why wins don't mean anything anymore for starting pitchers, but call me crazy. I'd rather have an ace go out and pitch eight innings of scoreless, 3-hit ball than 6-7 mostly unreliable middle relievers in a "bullpen" game.

My favorite trend in college football right now is head coaches complaining about conference game kickoff times while simultaneously saying Notre Dame should join a conference

Jose De Leon in Game 162: 6.2 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 8 Ks What a cool moment for the regular season finale. The 33 year old had a 6.93 ERA in AAA. Comes up for his first big league action in over two years. Gets a big standing ovation on the way out.

Seeing a lot of people on here who championed the Devers trade complaining about no pop the past couple of days. You fell for it. You didn't understand that someone paid to be the Man didn't want to be a utility player. Now you know. Never trade a Yankee Killer. No matter what!

For those that remember, Mike Greenwell should have been the 1988 AL MVP. He was a huge reason why Morgan Magic happened. A fun guy to watch play and sad to hear of his passing at a far too young age.

The late Mike Green well was a Red Sox stalwart and a career .303 hitter. And check this out: Career K 364. Career BB 460. And check out 1988, when he was Canseco MVP runner up; BB 87 K 38. To go with .325, 22, 119.

Wait a minute! Hold up! I thought it was against the law for starting pitchers to throw complete games. Or go eight innings. Does their ftghwWAR go down when that happens? Next thing you're gonna tell me is it's still OK to hit .300 and not strike out looking three times a game.
