This is absolutely gorgeous. The very definition of drink-or-keep. Now, or any day in the next two decades, at least. #Riesling

Excellent #Riesling this evening from #VanVolxem Old vines is almost an understatement, 80yo -ish and producing beautiful fruit. This 2016 is still youthful but not unapproachable. Wish I'd decanted for an hour or two.

Some words for your commute, or whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, or any other essential morning activities! blog.bbr.com/2019/04/21/the…

"The nose is super freaky: all stewed and macerated fruits, exotic tobacco, burning Bakewell tarts, liniment, chicory and the faintest suggestion of singed motherboards." Our Spirits Buyer Rob Whitehead shares how he was first introduced to Hampden's funky #rum.

Drinking a kind gift. Glen Grant 5yo, distilled 1979. Proper old, young whisky. Beautifully textured. Sweetly and delicately wooded. Herbal in all the right ways. More like this please, oh whisky deities!

In the spirit of blog.bbr.com/2020/04/03/the… I opened a gift I’ve been hoarding for some while. Ardbeg 1998 Toasted Oak cask #1189 - An extraordinary, smoky, medicinal monster. Filthy and fabulous oak intermingles with liniment of various kinds. Like Beelzebub’s personal Mezcal!

After an excellent tour of The Glendronach and an informative range tasting, I have one simple take-away... this is what sherried whiskies should be (and all-too-sadly often aren't) #VerySherry #VeryGood

A delightful morning Benriach tasting some bottlings, pinnacled by the new 21yo addition to the core range. Had fun frolicking in Warehouse 13, some real treats tucked away in there for the future!

Raise a dram to the launch of Daftmill, from the first new distillery in Fife for over a century. Want to be one of the lucky few to buy one of only 250 bottles? Enter our ballot by 5pm on 10th May. This whisky’s rarity only adds to its sublime taste. goo.gl/fcwfVJ
