Long weekend at the state championship meet and I’ve finally worked up the strength to type up all the accomplishments….. Weekend started off strong with Caitlin Style qualifying for the Division II Hurdle Finals race on Saturday…. BBP Athletics BBPBoosterClub

Next up was a lightning delay just before Soph was going to race the 800 m. After seeking shelter inside for about an hour, Soph came out and ran her 2nd fastest time ever to become State Champion! BBP Athletics BBPBoosterClub

After yet another lightning delay, a 4x4 relay that was supposed to go off at 5:30 initially ended up racing under the lights after 9! ansley ava brogan Soph & Maggie Yost raced incredibly well & won the 4x4 State Championship! BBP Athletics BBPBoosterClub

We woke up after a very short rest Friday night and Soph was right back at it in the 1500 m. She dropped a 66 second last lap to lock up another State Championship. BBP Athletics BBPBoosterClub

Next up was Caitlin Style racing to a 4th place finish in the 100 Hurdles! #AllState BBP Athletics BBPBoosterClub

The 4x8 of ansley ava brogan Soph & Maddie Jensen took the track next. They out raced all the other small schools to win another State Championship! The first 4x8 win in school history for the girls! BBP Athletics BBPBoosterClub

We closed out the weekend with Style, Yost, Jensen and Emma Caliendo racing in the 4x4 Federation Championship race. They finished earning All-Federation (All-State essentially). BBP Athletics BBPBoosterClub

Lastly, after calculating it today, the BBPXCTF team scored more points in the Division II State Championship meet than any other team. More than double the second place team. A very special group of kids! BBP Athletics BBPBoosterClub

Kicking off the season upstate at the Queensbury invitational! Teams come from all over the state to prep for the state championship meet here in November.
