Thanks to sam doesn't use this site anymore 🦋 I just joined the other place (💙☁️) - add me if you’re already there! And consider joining me in the great psych migration if you’re not!

Happy to see this published! Led by @HaynosAF & Amy Heard Egbert, Ph.D., we overview the public health harms of labeling eating disorders as a ‘niche’ topic. If you "don't study EDs," but you study other psych concerns, we urge you to consider that you probably do. cambridge.org/core/journals/…

On Fri Mar 15 at 4:00 PM, Jordan Schueler, PhD brenna williams (she/her) Blair Burnette Brooke Bennett, PhD Ruth Striegel Weissman and myself will be discussing challenges/suggestions for conducting pilot eating disorder trials in grad school as part of the Early Career SIG Panel Discussion.

I had a wonderful time being part of this amazing panel with brenna williams (she/her) Jordan Schueler, PhD Blair Burnette and Brooke Bennett, PhD last week in NYC 🥰 Very honoured and proud to be surrounded by such wonderful people and researchers.

Holy sh*t, it’s real! Endless gratitude to Evelyn & Elyse, who have been so supportive & helped make this happen, Tracy Tylka for writing the foreword & putting IE on the research map, & New Harbinger for believing in this project.

New paper alert! We (@DrMartinWagar Brooke Bennett, PhD Taylor Penwell (she/her) LEDE Lab) tested a modified version of the Attitudes Towards Obese Persons (ATOP) scale that included neutral language (e.g., from "obese" to "higher weight"). 1/2
