Hi #AcademicTwitter #psychology friends 👋Request for you- I’m teaching Health Psych Interventions (grad class) in the spring and feeling stuck - does anyone have an example syllabus they’d be willing to share along with what they liked/didn’t like? 🤞Thanks in advance!

Super cool postdoc job opportunity! Becca is the best and you definitely want to work with her. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and enthusiastic. What more could you want in a supervisor??

A thread about our depraved healthcare system, and a plea. In 2021, my friend Carole was diagnosed with terminal stage four cancer. A single parent with two kids, she had just turned 43. In 2017, she had watched her brother Chris die of the same cancer. He too was in his 40s.

Happy to see this published! Led by @HaynosAF & Amy Heard Egbert, Ph.D., we overview the public health harms of labeling eating disorders as a ‘niche’ topic. If you "don't study EDs," but you study other psych concerns, we urge you to consider that you probably do. cambridge.org/core/journals/…

What does my student membership get me? Why should I encourage my fellow students to also become Society for Health Psychology (Div. 38) members? Share this with other students to let them know about the benefits of joining SfHP!

Holy sh*t, it’s real! Endless gratitude to Evelyn & Elyse, who have been so supportive & helped make this happen, Tracy Tylka for writing the foreword & putting IE on the research map, & New Harbinger for believing in this project.

Hi folks! My publisher would like me to post that my Intuitive Eating Treatment Manual is coming out on 9/1! You can preorder on Amazon or through the publisher (link below). I did my best to make this book as useful & inclusive as possible & to address IE's criticisms.
