⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sydney Writers Festival ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Some Stage 3 students attended the Sydney Writers Festival at Town Hall last week and listened to some amazing authors speak about their journey to becoming an author, and how they get their wonderful ideas!

Thank you to Erin from Yanmala Cultural Education who spoke to our Stage 2 students about Aboriginal history. Erin shared her heritage and cultural experiences and has made a lasting impact on our students.

By researching the collapse of the 1940 Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington, USA - students learnt that the bridge was designed poorly and was too long and narrow. Students used their creativity to design a bridge that was able to hold up the weight of 2x hundreds MAB blocks.

Stage 1 enjoyed exploring old Rouse Hill Public School and Rouse Hill Estate. Students practised writing on slates, sewing with a running stitch, and performed household chores, such as feeding the chickens and hanging the washing on the line.

2S have been learning about turtles! Check out their artworks the next time you're in the school office foyer.

All Schools Eels Cup! Students displayed great sportsmanship as they played their rugby league games. Well done!

Stage 3 students were very lucky to be invited to a matinee performance at Granville South Creating and Performing Arts High School yesterday! Students enjoyed the CAPA showcase, full of dancing, drama, singing and acrobatics!

Students loved our Colour Run for 2021! It was great to see everyone participating for a good cause. We look forward to the event again next year!
