Really excited to receive this NoA from NIAMS Grants and Funding to link #Achilles pain with tendon loading profiles. Working with awesome colleagues Dr. Karin G Silbernagel Ryan and the great clinicians at Penn Medicine
Congrats to Josh Baxter @pennmotionlab (U Penn) & Dr. Karin G Silbernagel Ryan (University of Delaware Physical Therapy) on their new 5-yr NIAMS R01 grantππ This novel study will determine loading profiles & biomarkers that explain healing & functional outcomes of patients with Achilles tendinopathy!
We are recruiting a grad-student/post-doc! Join @pennmotionlab to study #Achilles tendon injuries using tons of rad #biomechanics tools. Eligible candidates must meet the criteria of a diverse background as defined by NIH. DM with questions, please RT diversity.nih.gov/about-us/populβ¦

An exciting day in the BaxterLabHQ today as we took a field trip to visit Tendon Research Group @ UD! The most exciting part? After years doing research I was finally a subject in a study that wasn't part of my own lab! Big shout-out to Nao Ito and Rodrigo Scattone for having me.
It was great to visit Tendon Research Group @ UD and talk tendon.
