New Energy Policy Research Foundation analysis shows that gasoline cost is cheaper than electricity for EVs per mile driven in California. When excluding the state’s environmental fees and extra excise taxes, gasoline would be even cheaper (although still higher than national average of 9.5 cents/mile)
