When we visited the Bergen-op-Zoom Canadian War Cemetery in the Netherlands, on my mind was Lt. Jean Robert Grégoire - Sophie’s great-uncle - who served during the Second World War and made the ultimate sacrifice in Normandy. This year, my digital poppy is dedicated to him.
