Today's community screening of KENDA, a film based on GBV realities in Nairobi Eastlands, was a call to rethink how we approach #16DaysOfActivismAgainstGBV and the rising cases of femicides. High time we support community-based organic theatres & filmmakers Kazi Safi Bashosho Talents

This #16Days, in collaboration with Bashosho Talents, we are using street magnet theatre to connect with community members in Makadara and Kamukunji sub-counties. We are raising awareness about the widespread issue of SGBV, particularly within family settings.

We aim to challenge and disrupt the harmful practices that fuel #sgbv and have been normalized within these #communities. #16DaysOfActivism
