The newest Gold guidelines for COPD are up! It’s group A, B & E now rather than 4 groups. More focus on minimizing the unnecessary use of inhaled steroids. Add the eosinophils count to your daily notes and presentations fellas 😁 jwatch.org/na56004/2023/0… #MedTwitter

With Starbucks and after 5 years in the US I am pretty much used to get a different name every time I make an order, but today was definitely the most creative. They got the “S” right tho haha #Starbucks

Surgery note: “patient had half their body removed last week, but they were able to walk and poop”, ready for discharge. Medicine note: The patient coughed 3 times when I was talking to them, the cough makes me suspicious they have one of the following 17 conditions.

Each time you meet a patient, you never know what their experience in healthcare has been like throughout their life. They could've been dismissed, or labeled, or ignored. Each time we meet a patient we have an opportunity. A chance to rebuild trust that was once destroyed.

Agreeing that buying an electric toothbrush was the most important, graduation is probably the second most important life milestone! What a journey with those fantastic friends and colleagues! Internal Medicine Residency ✅ 🎉

Dear New Doc, There will be times when you have a gut feeling something is just not right with your patient. Never ignore it. Even if you can’t explain why.
