I hear a lot of “Holding the ground” or “Get in that back hip and hold the ground” Holding the ground is useless. Create force. Generate explosive force. Create tremendous rotary force from one completely grounded rear leg.

Fire from Dante Bichette. Some fantastic advice on playing with the ball in different parts of the strikezone, different swings and approaches, and much more. Listen to the career .299 man!

Check out Carlos Jorge's beautiful and effortless swing! Can't wait to see his career progress. Almost a 1.000 OPS in 89 complex games to complement 54 stolen bases. #mlb #milb #mlbprospects

Don’t be fooled, here are the Average HS Fastballs by Grade: HS Senior: 81 mph HS Junior: 78 mph HS Soph: 75 mph HS Freshman: 71 mph The avg FB in HS varsity games is 74-76 mph. Top velo is NOT average velo & at 100 pitches (since kids aren’t in shape) their velos drop a ton.
