Coaching does NOT = lessons ! Tough to understand for some but
Le$$on$ for a 6-14 yr old are not the same as COACHING ! Here is a novel idea, if you’re a COACH for a youth program, try coaching instead of up$elling the parents!

Walter Beede ⚾ Baseball Lifer Couldn't agree more. Let the kids find their own way. They'll end up a lot more athletic. To often for me their athleticism and fluidity gets trained right out of them.

Walter Beede ⚾ Baseball Lifer Play catch. Especially long toss. It'll pay off in velocity and arm strength when they're older (and when they are older, they throw too hard for you to play catch!) Son did not have a single private lesson until he was 14 and he's a D1 pitching commit.

Trying to tell parents their student-athletes need private lessons at 6-14 is garbage! It is eye and ear wash! Wall ball, self-toss, playing with friends, playing catch or front toss with parents and siblings worked for decades, but now it is ' trash' and not competitive enough!…
