Duke Stone (Mississippi State Baseball) turned in another terrific performance tonight: 6 shutout innings, allowed just 2 hits, walked none and struck out 8 while throwing 78 pitches, 57 for strikes. Stone left with Chatham Anglers up 3-0 but Falmouth scored 4 in the 8th to win 4-3.

Dawson Bryce (Charlotte Baseball) led off the bottom of the 2nd with a home run and that proved to be the only run of the game as the first place Orleans Firebirds topped Cotuit. It was Bryce's third round-tripper of the summer.
