I do think Gwynne Shotwell and all the other amazing folks at SpaceX who made today’s events possible deserve recognition for being total badasses.

This. Joe is spot on. What a time to be alive . . . the freely available resources online to learn and explore in your free time are amazing. In some of my downtime every week on Earth I keep learning in areas like CAD, programming, imagery, and circuits.

"Passers-by" After hours of planning and a good stroke of cosmic luck, I present the International Space Station #ISS making a flyby of #Jupiter! You can even see the Galilean moons. Lost for words with how this turned out - I hope you like it just as much as I do! 1/4

My entire Twitter feed is Elon Musk commenting "This is crazy" and quote tweeting something that a fourth-grader should be able to tell is made up.

The EU has three times as many people as Russia. Germany’s economy alone is 50% larger than Russia’s. We don’t need the US for protection. But we do need to get to work.

If you feel like you won today, it’s more important than ever to be kind to those who feel they lost. Show them that their fears of you were misplaced.

I watched the video 2x and took notes, and I really don’t think Sabine agreed with Neil, nor do I think she disagreed with Elon except over the matter of timing. 🧵/1

Totally agree. I’m an O’Neillian but I think SpaceX trying to settle Mars will do more to accelerate the O’Neillian vision than any other approach, because it will create customers for cislunar industry. And cislunar industry will greatly benefit efforts to settle Mars. 1/2

It’s been 6 weeks since Donald Trump returned to the White House. It’s almost been too much to keep up with the sheer number of bad decisions he’s made that will make life worse for Americans. I know it's hard to keep track, but we can't let any of this go unnoticed. 🧵
