By going 2/3 in tonight's sectional championship game against Linton, Mitchell Bluejackets senior Dawson Glassco not only broke the Mitchell single-season batting average record by 18 points (.534), he also set a new single-season hits record with 47. Times-Mail Sports

To say I am proud of my TEAM would be an understatement. Losing 8-7 in The Championship Game was not what we wanted, but my team gave everything they had. That's a great season! 17 wins, PLAC CHAMPIONS, AND 3 Seniors who have grown into young men we can all be proud of!
