Hard to take in the scale of the devastation here. Whole woods flattened, thousands of trees down. People & animals all safe. It's going to take a long time to straighten out and shelter will be a challenge for years to come.

An enjoyable afternoon virtually hosting final year Harper Adams University students. This is the weaned calves on strip grazing and red clover silage with their mums in the field beyond. The calves had been creeping through to here but were recently shut in. Photo from a few days ago.
