Got another one of the “our ingredients are proprietary so we can’t tell you if they’re vegan” responses, like they once lost a game of 20 questions on the first round and “oh no, you won’t catch me like that again!”

Biggest “effort” tonight is to avoid engaging that particular brand on Twitter. I mean, if they can’t confirm or deny their ingredients, what’s the dumbest thing they might be? Potato salad? They won’t deny it! What else are they hiding?

It’s my second favourite dodgy response (the first will always be “don’t ask us, ask your doctor” and yes that was a real response once or twice over the years)

OK, last week it was funny, but it looks like Diageo is using the same stock response for all their brands, and it’s… not the smartest? Smirnoff US cannot confirm or deny if their vodka contains, well, you name it.
