It’s been quite a week in politics. I’ve really enjoyed engaging with young voters and talking about the need for electoral reform. I hope to inspire more people to get involved in politics at the National Youth Agency panel debate this weekend.

I’m glad that campaigners were able to secure a review into the appalling Carer's Allowance scandal, where family carers have been unfairly pursued for repayments. But this cannot be an excuse for Ministers to sit on their hands until the review finishes next summer.

Good to talk at the APPRG (All-Party Parliamentary Rail Group) about how rail devolution should be able to grow in this new world of public ownership of the railway and GBR.
