Architect Alfred Waterhouse, Liverpool-born Quaker, died #OTD 1905. Buildings include Manchester Town Hall, London’s Natural History Museum, Liverpool University's Victoria building. His love of red brick and terracotta led to him being nicknamed 'Slaughterhouse Waterhouse'.
