Nat'l Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for our area, Tues 11am thru Wed 8pm. Afternoon highs 93 to 99 degrees, peaks 3-7pm. Stay hydrated and cool, limit exertion with any outdoor activities.

Crews are responding to an MVA/vehicle fire that has spread to a qtr-acre brush fire on Hwy 47 at MP73. Hwy 47 is currently closed at Stub Stewart State Park while crews work the scene.

A reminder for all. Saturday September 21st we will be having a CPR class here at the main station. Class will be from 8:30am to 1:00pm. There is no cost for the class, all you need to do is call the main station during business hours (M-F 8am-5pm) to reserve your spot.

HWY 26 is blocked in the Buxton area. Banks Fire Crews are on scene with wires and trees blocking the highway. Traffic may be limited or completely blocked in both directions to ensure firefighter and bystander safety. The scene will be handed over to ODOT for control.

Banks Fire District 13 is involved in a residential fire with multiple mobile homes involved on Hwy 47 at Hoffman Road (Tophill) just north of Stub Stewart State Park. Hwy 47 will be closed to protect firefighter safety. ODOT will be responsible for any detours.

Crews are responding to a two-vehicle MVA about a mile west of the tunnel on HWY 26. Expect days while crews work the scene!

Closed. Banks Fire Crews are the scene of a multi vehicle accident on Hwy 26 near the tunnel (MP 41). The highway is blocked and life flight has been activated. Hwy 26 will be detoured on Hwy 47/Timber Road (towards Vernonia).

Banks Fire Crews are on scene with a Residential Working House Fire at the intersection of Hwy 47 and Hwy 26 (Turn off to Banks). Traffic in the area on Hwy 26 WILL be affected. Please avoid the area if at all possible. Updates will be on Facebook @ Banks Fire District 13.
