No Christmas parkrun at Bangor this year 😢 but don't let that stop you doing your own (not)parkrun! 😁 In the absence of parkrun events (not)parkrun is an opportunity for parkrunners to submit a 5k walk, jog, or run or 2k for junior parkrunners, on a route of your choosing.

To keep everyone as safe as we can, we have made a few changes to comply with the parkrun Covid framework including the use of the parkrun virtual volunteer app for timekeeping and barcode scanning.

You have been without your favourite free, weekly, timed 5k for over a year now. But we are delighted to announce that Bangor parkrun will return on Saturday 26 June at 9:30am! 🎉

📢 Important Announcement 📢 A weather warning for very strong winds has been issued for Northern Ireland on Friday and Saturday. Severe gales in excess of 65mph are forecast around coastal areas. For safety reasons, we may have to cancel parkrun this Saturday 27 November #Arwen
