People always find ways to minimize your achievements. They'll make endless excuses to make themselves feel better. Because while you were working hard, they were wasting their lives. And no, it wasn't "luck".

The people you're around can make or break your business. Here are some red flags: 1. Fighting over equity and hoarding profits. 2. Refusing to reinvest or take risks. 3. Deflecting responsibility and making excuses.

It's extremely important to track your progress. People are naturally delusional and tend to misrepresent the facts. When you can see the numbers in front of you, it's easy to tell exactly where you need to improve. No lies and no sugarcoating.

What you can control will always lead to wealth.

The most direct answer isn't always the best one. Keeping your head down and fighting it out is the noble thing to do, but sometimes there are better options. Seeking an alternative source of income, trying different methods, etc. It doesn't make you weak to try.

Anyone can get an idea. It's truly rare to see anyone follow through and actually achieve something great. Anyone can be ambitious one day out of the week. But very few can be ambitious every single day, each week, each month, and each year.

People always seem to be more interested in you when things are going well. It's no coincidence either. People are always looking to extract value from one another no matter what. But in the end, you'll always know who was there from the beginning.

Pressure isn't a bad thing. Give yourself a set amount of time to reach a goal, and you'll get there 10x faster. That's one of the best ways to combat laziness and gain motivation. If you think you can always do it tomorrow, you'll never do it.

Sometimes you just have to get lucky. Sometimes all a business owner needs is someone to give them a chance. You can have all the skills, do all the work, have a network, etc. Of course that takes skill, but without a bit of luck, it's hard.

One of my biggest mental roadblocks has always been patience. Sometimes you have to be okay with waiting, which hurts me to my core because it feels like there's always something to be done. And there is. You just have to really look for it.
