Congratulations to our Year 10 team of mathemeticicans who participated in the UKMT Team Maths Challenge last week at St Malachy’s College, Belfast. The boys spent the day puzzling their way through some tough problems against strong competition. Well done 👏👏

Congratulations to our Senior Rugby 7s squad who won the NEBSSA Tournament yesterday afternoon. After defeating Ballyclare High School, Dalriada & Cambridge House, the boys met Coleraine GS in the final winning 17-7. 1st - Ballymena Academy 2nd - Coleraine GS 3rd - Dalriada

Congratulations to the Minor Netball Team who defeated Rathmore Grammar 10-7 in the quarter-final of the NNI Shield. They will now play Assumption Grammar in the semi-final. Well done girls 👏

Commiserations to the U14AXI who lost 1-0 to Friends in the Junior Plate Final today. It was a close match with our girls dominating possession, particularly in the last quarter, but unable to find an equaliser. Well done girls. We are very proud of you!

Yesterday our Year 8 pupils took park in workshops run by Noel Lyons, of Arc21. They learned about waste management in Northern Ireland and the importance of recycling. They got to complete an interactive quiz and prizes were given to the lucky winners!

Today Year 13 pupils attended the UCAS Discovery event at the Eikon Centre in Lisburn. Pupils had the opportunity to engage directly with universities and apprenticeship providers as they plan their next steps 👏

The Edgar Graham Memorial Public Speaking Competition was held in The Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings, Stormont on Tuesday 11th March. Congratulations to Kirk Wilson (Year 13) who was placed 2nd in the competition out of a total of 15 speakers from across the province.
